The wait is almost over. CottonNBox is preparing to unveil a collection that redefines what Indian cotton luxury means. Be the first to witness it.
Every kurti is a canvas — painted by skilled artisans who have inherited their craft across generations.
Each piece tells a story — of ancient printing traditions, of sun-drenched cotton fields, of women who carry grace effortlessly.
Every decision we make is guided by four unwavering principles.
We source only 100% pure cotton, directly from trusted farmers across India's finest cotton-growing regions.
Our artisans carry forward centuries-old techniques — block printing, hand embroidery, and natural dyeing.
Every kurti undergoes a rigorous 12-point quality check before it earns the CottonNBox seal of luxury.
Sustainable practices, fair wages, and eco-friendly processes — because luxury should never cost the earth.
Pure cotton is not just a fabric — it is a wellness choice. Worn by Indian women for centuries, cotton kurtis offer benefits that go far beyond comfort and style.
Cotton's natural open-weave structure allows air to circulate freely between the fabric and your skin, preventing heat build-up and keeping your body temperature regulated — especially vital in India's warm climate.
Cotton can absorb up to 27 times its own weight in water. It draws perspiration away from the skin and allows it to evaporate, keeping you dry, fresh, and odour-free throughout the day.
Unlike synthetic fabrics that contain chemical residues, 100% pure cotton is naturally hypoallergenic. It does not irritate sensitive skin, making it the ideal choice for women prone to rashes, eczema, or allergies.
The soft, smooth texture of cotton minimises friction against the skin. Loose-fit cotton kurtis allow unrestricted movement, reducing the risk of skin irritation, chafing, and discomfort during long wear.
Cotton acts as a natural insulator — cool in summer and warm in winter. Its hollow fibres trap air, providing a natural thermal buffer that adapts to your body's needs across every season.
Pure cotton kurtis contain no synthetic polymers, microplastics, or chemical finishes that leach into the skin. Wearing natural cotton means your body is not absorbing toxins — a choice as healthy as it is conscious.
Every CottonNBox kurti carries within it a story that begins in the sun-drenched fields of India and ends in the hands of a master artisan. Here is that journey.
Every journey begins in the fertile black soil of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Telangana — India's cotton heartland. Farmers carefully select high-quality cotton seeds and sow them between April and June, when the monsoon rains arrive to nourish the earth.
Over 150–180 days, the cotton plant grows under careful tending — watered, weeded, and nurtured by generations of farming families. The plants bloom with delicate white flowers that transform into cotton bolls, bursting open to reveal the soft white fibre inside.
Between October and February, the ripe cotton bolls are harvested — often by hand in traditional Indian farms, preserving the integrity of the fibre. Hand-picking ensures only the finest, fully matured bolls are selected, resulting in longer, stronger fibres.
The harvested cotton is taken to a ginning mill, where the raw fibre is mechanically separated from the seeds. The clean cotton lint is then compressed into large bales and transported to spinning mills across India.
At the spinning mill, cotton fibres are cleaned, carded (combed to align the fibres), and drawn into fine strands. These strands are twisted together under tension to form yarn — the foundation of every fabric. The count of the yarn determines the final softness of the kurti.
The spun yarn is woven on looms — both traditional handlooms and modern power looms — into cotton fabric. The weave structure determines the texture: fine muslin, sturdy cambric, or soft voile. Our artisans prefer handloom-woven fabric for its unique character and breathability.
The woven fabric is washed, bleached, and prepared for dyeing using natural or azo-free dyes. Master block printers then hand-carve intricate motifs onto wooden blocks and press them onto the fabric — a craft passed down through generations in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh.
Skilled tailors cut the printed fabric according to precise kurti patterns and stitch each piece with care. Embroidery, mirror work, or lace detailing is added by hand. Each kurti then undergoes a rigorous 12-point quality check before it receives the CottonNBox seal of approval.
Wrapped in sustainable packaging and sealed with our signature ribbon, your CottonNBox kurti completes its journey — from a seed in Indian soil to a story you wear with pride. Every thread carries the warmth of the artisan who made it.
Wear the stories of a thousand artisans. Feel the warmth of Indian cotton. Carry the grace of a heritage that never fades.
